SB273 Submitted

The 86th Texas Legislature will convene in 2019. Before the legislative body will be Senate Bill 273. This bill will protect the practice of motorcycle lane splitting. An activity that significantly reduces motorcycle fatalities by allowing riders to move between cars when traffic speeds are under 20 mph.

SB 288 is still with the Transportation Committee and has yet to receive any consideration. Please make calls to the committee members asking them to set a hearing.
